Terabyte Triangle Welcomes Flat Spin Media

Free Tax Workshop at the BIC
The IRS has arranged seminars in November and December at the Spokane Area BIC in the SRBC building at 801 W Riverside. On November 19, the class will be “Selecting a Business Entity.” On December 12, the class will be “Employment Tax Workshop.” All classes run 8:30 - 12:30, and are free, but pre-registration is required. Marketing Associates of Spokane Meeting Features Marketing Database
Do you have a marketing infrastructure? Does it work well for your firm? A marketing database is the backbone for many firms and Jan Flesher of Flesher Database Consulting, Seattle, will talk about types of databases and how to use them efficiently at the November program and luncheon meeting of Marketing Associates of Spokane (MAS).

An Afternoon with the Experts
A seminar and consulting event co-hosted by Preston Gates & Ellis law firm and featuring six Seattle-area technology business experts will be held Thursday, November 14, at Gordon Brothers Cellars in Pasco, Washington. The seminar, co-hosted by Battelle, is from 2:30 - 4:30 pm, followed by face-to-face consultation with the experts until 6:30 pm.

In a case study format, the experts will advise a hypothetical tech startup about seeking investment funding, building an experienced management team, creating a public relations and brand awareness campaign, addressing intellectual property issues, and structuring the corporation for maximum value.

Moderated by Preston Gates' Timothy Nielander, the panel includes Martin Smith, Partner with Preston Gates' Technology and Intellectual Property Department, Gary Kocher, Chair of Preston Gates' Emerging Business Practice Group; Robert Ferguson, Managing Partner of the executive search firm Korn/Ferry International; Will Ludlum, General Manger of Porter Novelli International, a marketing and public relations firm; and a prominent angel investor.
