FirstPharma Celebrates Grand Opening
FirstPharma, a pharmacy compounding firm, will celebrate its grand opening on Thursday, September 5 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.. FirstPharma is a new member of the SIRTI incubator at 665 N. Riverpoint Blvd. The grand opening will feature a tour of the facilities and speakers Gary G. Meadows, PhD, Lawrence J. Cohen, PharmD, Dr. Al Morgan, N. Association for Computing Machines SIGs Begin
“How Deep Blue Beat Gary Kasparov,” will be explained by Paul De Palma, Professor of Computer Science, Gonzaga University, at the Inland Northwest Chapter of the Association for Computing Machines (INACM) special interest group (SIG). The SIG will be held Tuesday, September 10 at SIRTI, 665 N. Riverpoint Blvd., room 432. It begins at 4:30 p.m. with networking. The talk will be from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. There is no charge. Marketing Associates Feature “Doing Business with the City of Spokane Valley”
Dennis Scott, spokesman for the City of Spokane Valley, will present information on future projects with the City of Spokane Valley at the September meeting of the Marketing Associates of Spokane. The meeting will be Thursday, September 12 at noon at Luigi’s Italian Restaurant, 245 W. Main in Spokane. The cost is $15 for MAS members and $25 for non-members. Reservation deadline is September 9. Brian Carter, AIA, has been promoted to Principal at INTEGRUS Architecture. Carter leads INTEGRUS’ K-12 Education Group and serves on the Board of Directors. Carter’s professional commitments extend to regional architectural and educational communities. INTEGRUS Architecture is a 60-person Architecture and Engineering firm with offices in Seattle and in Spokane at 10 S. Cedar in Carnegie Square.
