Hogan Entrepreneurial Leadership Program Receives Grants
Fred Brown, founder and former CEO of LineSoft, is creating two opportunities for the Hogan Entrepreneurial Leadership Program. First, his new angel fund will include membership in the Hogan Program --- a seat paid for by Brown. Second, Brown is establishing a foundation; a portion of which will fund entrepreneurial experience opportunities for Hogan students. The major portion of this gift will be used to fund internship experiences and incubation projects for students who are working with local entrepreneurs.

The Hogan Entrepreneurial Program has received a grant of $27,000 from the Herbert B. Jones Foundation, to fund an internship director for the Hogan Program.

Terabyte Triangle Continues Its Search for Seven Wonders
To qualify as one of the "Seven Wonders of the Terabyte Triangle" a candidate location must satisfy three criteria.
First, it must be located in the Terabyte Triangle, a fuzzy edged geographic district defined by imaginary lines connecting the Arena District, Browne's Addition, and the Riverpoint Higher Education District, or must be no further than one half mile outside this inner triangle.

Second, the proposed wonder must be a physical location with associated activities that involve high technology and high performance broadband communications, perhaps in a novel, massive, or creative way.

Third, the combination of location and activities must be visually exciting: It should be possible to imagine it on the cover of the October 2002 issue of Wired Magazine.
Please e-mail nominated candidate locations, with a brief explanation of why it is being nominated and, preferably, a contact name, to Billie Moreland, TTN Editor, e-mail at bmoreland@rightland.com. Nominations may come from any person or organization interested in the Terabyte Triangle. Seven winning locations will be selected during the month of August by the Terabyte Triangle Board, and announced during the October TT anniversary festivities. Spokesperson Michael McGinn hopes to contribute to community access programming that will provide public, governmental and educational productions through fiber optic networks. Anyone with a video camera, time to volunteer, and the desire to increase their video experience is welcome to contact McGinn at 760-0380 or 764-2420 or by e-mail at videomakers@mtbn.net or on the web at http://videomakers.mtbn.net
