05/31/2002 - eNetwork Pioneers Wireless Security

The Terabyte Triangle welcomes eNetwork Capital.Com, Inc., a network security and wireless mobile security solutions company. Just two and a half years old and with thirteen employees, eNetwork has recently moved into the Scott & Pacific Business Park at 109 S. Scott Street. According to Carmen Vega, President and CEO, the move more than doubles their space --- abetting the company’s continued growth and development.

As a network security company, eNetwork is in the vanguard with their ability to provide secure wireless connections between mobile units and the client’s network and database. This security allows service companies with people in the field to communicate with the database in real time, using hand-held devices such as PDA’s, Palm tops, smart phones, or laptops. Wireless security involves encryption and is just being perfected. eNetwork uses current engineering tools and integrates technologies to create secure connections ---both voice and data.

In addition to wireless technology, eNetwork offers intrusion detection systems (IDS) --- hardware and software products --- firewalls, and computer systems. Company professionals make an evaluation of a client’s security needs and design a security system to fit. They offer project management services, vulnerability assessments, network design, system integration, service and maintenance agreements, and virtual private networks (VPN). eNetwork’s clients include banks and credit unions, health care institutions, realtors, and car dealers.

However, according to Vega, their most important product is their customer service. They offer 24 x 7 x 365 service by real people at all times right here in Spokane. “You’ll never get stuck in a phone system menu at eNetwork,” says Vega “nor will you ever be shunted into voicemail never-never land.” Vega continues, “We want to be the helping hand, the power behind the scenes.” Vega is justifiably proud that eNetwork was nominated by a client for an Agora award for business excellence and was a semi-finalist in 2001.

Vega is passionate about her company and the products and services they provide. “I breathe, sleep, and dream this company,” asserts Vega. Although Vega is the founder and CEO, she believes the eNetwork management team is “the best”. The company is positioning itself to “go public” in about a year. Vega is working with Merrill Lynch on a customized strategy for an IPO. However, additional investors are needed to make it happen, so Vega is looking for investors and board members to share her dream and ultimately the company’s wealth. “Come join an exciting company,” Vega invites.

eNetwork’s web site is undergoing a complete face lift, but for more information, including a free demonstration, call (509) 462-3638. A real person will answer.
