IEEE Sponsors Student Paper Contest
Wednesday, April 7, 5:30 pm networking, 6:00 presentations. Purpose: The IEEE Student Prize Paper Contest offers the undergraduate IEEE Student members opportunities to exercise and improve both written and verbal communication skills.

Eligibility: The entrant must be an undergraduate student at a school in the Region at which
there is an IEEE Student Branch at the time of entry and presentation at the Branch contest.

Papers will be evaluated and judged on the basis of twenty equally weighted judging criteria Evaluation and judging is based on 55 percent given to the written presentation and 45 percent weight given to the oral presentation.

Prizes are:
* First Place: $250
* Second Place: $150
* Third Place: $100


The local IEEE Student Paper contest will be held at Eastern Washington University, Computer and Engineering Building, room 106 on the Cheney campus. The winners will participate in the Region 6 (includes WA, Alaska, Oregon) Student Contest that will take place in Spokane on May 8 at the Airport Ramada Inn.

CPN Presents: Engaging the Customer, The New Rules
Friday, April 9, 7:00 am at the Spokane Club, Crystal Room. Engaging the Customer, The New Rules and will be presented by Terri Krohn, a marketing consultant with the Matrix Group 360.
