Research and Technology Development Program
Washington Technology Center is accepting applications until October 22 for its next round of Research & Technology Development funding. Notices of intent due Sept. 24, applications due Oct. 22. Around $1 million is awarded annually to projects that partner Washington companies with academic and non-profit research teams. Design Spike, Inc. has recently purchased Go Teach It ( www.goteachit.com ), a Web site that features general and literature-based curricula and lesson plans for grades K-12. The lesson plans focus on cross-competency learning, allowing educators to meet the individual learning styles of students.
