10/31/2006 - Sirti Signs Five New Companies

At Sirti, accelerating innovative companies, space is filling up fast. Sirti has leased space to five more companies – one in the Sirti building and four in the Sirti Technology Center (STC). This brings the number of Sirti accelerator clients to forty – some are Sirti or STC tenants, others are off campus.

A series of “mini-suites” has recently been completed in the STC, and they have all been leased. Ascension Boardsports, which produces custom-designed and manufactured snow boards, has moved its offices from Post Falls to the STC because they need the acceleration services that Sirti provides. Their manufacturing plant remains in Post Falls.

NCA (Network Computing Architecture) is in the business of network security. NCA is a branch of a Bellevue, Washington Company.

Parish Brian Partners is an investment capital company headquartered on the East Coast that has opened an office in the STC. They have a number of clients in the Northwest, but an important factor in choosing Spokane is that their vice president of finance is a Spokane native. Parish Brian plans more investments in Spokane and the Northwest.

View-All Systems has leased other office space in the STC. View-All specializes in products and marketing of security, privacy, and protection systems. They also hold patents in telescope technology.

New in the Sirti building is BIAS Accounting Systems. BIAS specializes in municipal accounting systems. They have moved to Sirti from Fairfield, Washington.

“This is a fun time to be part of Sirti,” says Linda Hemingway, Director of Market Development and Communications. “We have some really fun clients that you just know you can help because what they have is so good.”
