SIRTI welcomes Connect Northwest as their latest addition to the Riverpoint campus. Connect Northwest is in the new STC building, Suite 142, in the lower East Bay. The Connect Northwest staff currently includes:

Meet the Lenders: Small Business Loans for $500 to $50,000, Free workshop
Thursday, June 1, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. It takes money to make money. Half the battle for entrepreneurs who need funds to start or expand their business is knowing what small business loan programs are available. Tapping those resources is the other half. The U.S. Small Business Administration in combination with guest panelists who provide small business loans in the Inland Northwest is offering a "Meet the Lenders: Small Business Loans for $500 to $50,000" workshop on Thursday, June 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Spokane Regional Business Center, 801 West Riverside Avenue in Spokane. Admission is free but seating is limited. To preregister, call Spokane SBA at 509-353-2811.

The lender panel will outline some of the small business loans that are available and will enable entrepreneurs to speak directly to loan providers. Panelists include staff from:

Mountain West Bank
Spokane Neighborhood Action Program (SNAP)
Spokane Neighborhood Economic Development Alliance (SNEDA
Washington State Office of Minority & Women's Business Enterprises (OMWBE)
This Meet the Lenders workshop is recommended for any current or prospective small business owner who needs a small loan. Come prepared with your loan questions, and bring along your financial statements, tax returns, and/or your business plan. After hearing about the available loan programs, you will have the opportunity to connect with the panelist(s) whose loan program(s) best match your finance needs.
