Terabyte Triangle Based Team Second in Dragon Boat Races
The MatriCal sponsored Dragon Boat Racing team, “Dragon-R-Butts,” was delighted to come in second with a time around 1 minutes and 3 tenths of a second. They were narrowly aced out by the Fairchild team -- the 92nd Engineers "Charging Bulls" -- who won the final race with a time of 59 seconds. Third place winner was the Spokane Association of Realtors, the “SAR Dragons,” with a finishing time around 1 minutes and 8 tenths of a second. A grand time was had by all.

SpokaneHotZoneSM and River Park Square Partnership Award Finalist
The partnership between the City of Spokane’s SpokaneHotZonesm Technology and Marketing Alliance and River Park Square has been selected as a finalist for the 2005 MAXI Awards Competition in the Public Relations Category. The MAXI Awards, sponsored by the International Council of Shopping Centers, recognizes excellence in shopping center marketing globally. River Park Square nominated their joint effort with the SpokaneHotZone for the 2005 State “B” Basketball Championship and the recently launched SpokaneHotZone Interactive Café located at the Atrium Cafes on the Third Level of River Park Square.

SNUG Explores the Capabilities of the New SQL Server Reporting Services
Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at 6:00 PM. The Spokane .NET users group (SNUG) will meet on a new date for August. In this session you will explore the capabilities of the new SQL Server Reporting Services. The session will start with an overview of the Reporting Services architecture. Next, you'll learn how to employ the Reporting Services report designer within Visual Studio .NET to construct complex reports with ease. Covered topics will include: calculated values, groups, headers and footers, aggregate functions, regions, charts, and parameters.
