10/31/2004 - Technet Names Catalyst Award Winners

echnet, the Inland Northwest Technology Alliance, presented its 2004 Catalyst Awards, the organization's highest honor, October 20. OneEighty Networks won the Catalyst Award as the Inland Northwest's innovative company of the year. Spokane Wi-Fi Technology Alliance was honored as the area's most outstanding organization. Kim Pearman-Gillman of Avista Development won in the innovator of the year category and Dr. Karen Michaelson of The Inland Northwest Community Access Network (TINCAN) took home the inaugural Mentor of the Year Award.

Originated in 1997, the Catalyst Awards recognize outstanding commitment and dedication to the growth of technology, innovation and technology-related initiatives in the Inland Northwest by organizations, businesses and individuals. Technet received 145 nominations for this year's awards.
