12/24/2001 - ACW Solutions Is Recent SIRTI Addition

Would you like to attract customers and then keep them for life? Could you use help in your customer relationship management? It is ACW Solutions’ stated goal to help your company use technology to increase sales, reduce operating costs, and increase customer loyalty. “We provide client companies with a Business Operating System that enables them to implement a systematic way to attract and keep customers for life,” says Damian Schwarz, ACW’s CIO.

ACW Solutions incorporated in January 2001, and moved into the SIRTI Incubator in September. The company currently has a staff of six full time employees and two part timers covering their technology, network, and sales and marketing needs. They hope to double the technical staff and increase sales and marketing staff by 25% in the next six months. When their “incubation period” is over, they plan to stay in the Terabyte Triangle. ACW Solutions is an Applications Service Provider, and uses the Internet as an essential tool. They need the connectivity available in the Terabyte Triangle to provide quality customer service.

According to Schwarz, ACW’s methods are to combine the best business practices with technology to help find customers, provide customer service, enhance productivity and see that nothing slips through the cracks. ACW does this by adapting off-the-shelf software that the ACE client company may already be using to give results that better meet the client’s needs. Sometimes this means creating an interface between two existing packages. Sometimes it means creating a module to add on to a package. It always means, Schwarz asserts, that through application engineering, Customer Relationship Management software (CRM) can be made to more effectively get specific and desired results. “We sell a complex product,” Schwarz said.

According to Schwarz, Customer Relationship Management software should effectively generate and qualify leads, manage opportunities, and manage contacts and interactions with customers. CRM software should also synchronize information throughout the organization, automate business processes, and effectively manage time. It should help keep the business up-to-date. If the clients current CRM software doesn’t do that, then ACW Solutions is in the business to help. They believe that software is just software and is only valuable if it does the job the client company needs. They have partnered with the GoldMine® and FrontOffice™ as a start for integrated software solutions.

The financial industry is a major market for ACW Solutions. “We really understand this market,” says Schwarz. “We have several local satisfied customers.”
