05/30/2003 - APerfectWeb Rolls Out New Application

APerfectWeb, Inc. announces its new Web based software application --- InSurvey. InSurvey is a survey system that allows the end user to create, maintain, and reap the results of any sort of survey. The survey designer can use plain text, have drop down menu boxes, allow multiple choice or true and false answers, or create radio buttons. The designer can mix and match at will. The survey form can be either e-mailed directly to the recipient, or posted on a Web site for completion on line. Using InSurvey, the surveying party can create as many surveys as they want and delete any portion at any time.

“InSurvey has many possible applications,” says Brandon Tanner, APerfectWeb CEO. Teachers can use it for creating on-line tests or for gathering student data. One-time on-line event registration becomes both possible and simple. Easily updateable contact forms for a Web site that can either be transmitted by e-mail or through the Internet is another use. InSurvey works equally well over an intranet for in-house communications. “We’re excited about InSurvey because it allows people to change and correct forms -- anything related to keeping information up-to-date,” says Tanner.

InSurvey is the latest in APerfectWeb’s InSuite series of software for business. The entire suite of Web based business solutions is enterprise level and is programmed using .NET. “Using .NET made a massive increase in our productivity,” says Tanner. “We can be more efficient, cut production time, and have fewer bugs.” Tanner explains that in his experience with .NET, once the application is configured on the server, it is virtually trouble free. When it’s up and running, information is stored as a DLL, so that programming “chunks” don’t fight with each other, and the system doesn’t crash. The end user works on a template and is separated from the inner workings of the software. Several Spokane ISPs host InSuite, in partnership with APerfectWeb. Partners include Contineo, NetRiver, 180Networks, Interlink Advantage, and AceTech. Over thirty companies subscribe to InSuite through their Internet Service Provider.

APerfectWeb also adapts and customizes its software for the end user. The client can choose only those applications they need; they don’t have to buy the entire package. “Custom work is probably 60% of our revenue,” says Tanner. “We’re working on a large enterprise content management project -- which will be customized for an Intranet,” he continues.

APerfectWeb has prospered in a down economy. In the past year, they have added three full time positions, and have nearly filled their once spacious quarters. They are cautious, but thanks to internal efficiency and strong partnerships, believe their business will continue to grow and prosper.
